A bit disappointed in my Bonnie
After much deliberating and chopping and changing of bikes, including 2 other Triumphs, I took delivery of a brand new Bonnie SE 6 weeks ago. Owing to the crappy weather I've only got about 100 dry miles on her so far.

I was wondering if any other Bonnie owners have found the finish of their bike lacking in certain areas?

On delivery, the right hand down pipe had a curious stain/mark (not a scratch) that would not polish off. After mentioning it to the dealer Triumph UK have agreed to replace the pipe under warranty at the 1st service.
Adjusting 1050 Valve Clearances – Part 1 - Preparation to Part 5 Notes
*Adjusting 1050 Valve Clearances – Part 1*

For anyone considering doing this job here are details of work I did recently to check and adjust valve clearances on my 2006 Sprint ST 1050 (22,000+ miles). I’ve posted this thread and photos to help others become familiar with the process – it is not intended to be a substitute for a maintenance manual.

This write-up begins with the fairing, tank and airbox already removed to gain access to the cylinder head area.

*_Moderator Note_*

Please post your pics into the relevant threads. Please do not post over-enlarged pics that extend the screen size, this is annoying to viewers.

Note: comments and questions/answers are invited but such comments will be deleted after one month to prevent the cluttering up of the picture threads.

Any bike that creates an interest with a number of questions & answers that are worth keeping can be saved and moved by the moderators as a new thread into the main forum.
