[emrat:7648] Eddie Kretz Jr Memorial Ride This Weekend

For those who are familiar with, or might have known Ed, the 2nd Kretz Memorial Ride is Saturday, August 22. Ed was a very accomplished TT, on and off road racer in the 50's and 60's. Of course I'm sure you all know of his Dad the "Iron Man" who won the very first Daytona 200 in 1937.

Ed lived in Sedalia and I had visited with him on numerous occasions up until his passing. Ed was a wonderful man and I enjoyed listening to his stories of motorcycle racing about himself and his Dad. If you didn't have the pleasure of meeting Ed you missed meeting one of the most genuine people who ever road a motorcycle. It's unfortunate we never got to ride together as we talked about doing...Ed on his original 67 T120R and me on my 68 T120R.

2^nd Annual Kretz Memorial Ride
August 22, 2015

Please join us for the second annual ride. We will begin the ride with registration and breakfast at 8:00 am at O'Brien's Café in Sedalia
5585 Highway 85, Sedalia, CO 80135

The route will be presented at check in.

The ride will end with a BBQ lunch at the new Kretz Museum at 3891 Seminole Pl., Sedalia, CO 80135. Please join us to see the motorcycle collection and some of the memorabilia that was so important to Ed.

The cost is $30 per person and includes breakfast, lunch and a t-shirt. All proceeds will be going to benefit Alzheimer's. If you would like to pre-register with a credit card through PayPal, please email KretzMemorialRide@gmail.com and include the number of people you would like to register. Everyone that pre-registers will be entered into a raffle to win a DVD copy of "Why We Ride"

*Unfortunately, due to some unexpected injuries this summer the interior of the museum will not be entirely finished, but we will have the motorcycle collection on display as well as some memorabilia.
