Dear Neighborhood Leaders,
I am excited to share Denver's first ever, Pop Up Picnic with you and your neighborhood. Slow Foods Denver, Grow Local Colorado, and Healthy Realities have partnered to create a city-wide picnic event in order to promote Slowing Down, Eating Real Food, and Building Community. To give a quick synopsis of the event, we are asking individuals, neighborhoods, businesses, etc. to "host" a picnic somewhere (anywhere!) on Sunday, September 16 at 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Picnics will be saturating the city of Denver.
We would love to have you and your neighborhood be a part of this! There are two ways you can take part: 1) Organize a picnic for your neighborhood AND/OR 2) Spread the word to your neighborhood through your newsletter or by word of mouth about Pop Up Picnic. I have attached a flyer that you can print and hand out or include in your newsletter.
