about 100 yards north of the intersection with Burgess.



There are no numbers at the beginning of the driveway.  Just look for two
gray stone pillars.  (As an additional landmark, there is also an ugly chain
link fence around the property right on the corner of Vollmer and Burgess.)
Turn east between the pillars on the dirt driveway.  Go all the way back
until you come to a T in the driveway.  Turn right and that will take you to
the house.



Please let me know how many people are coming so we can get the right amount
of meat and sides.  Also, let us know if there are any dietary restrictions
as well (e.g. vegetarian, allergic to nuts).  



Weather forecasts are totally useless this far out, but Weather Underground
shows light winds.  We'll see.

It looks like we have a consensus from the Doodle poll and will hold the BBQ
on Sunday, 29 July.  Unfortunately it's not a 100% unanimous vote, but that
would be nearly impossible.  The Doodle poll was just to find the best date;
obviously any others are welcome (and encouraged) to attend if plans change
or you just did not have an chance to vote.



Let's watch the weather as we get closer, but the general plan is to
hopefully fly and then go over to the house.  We can shoot for a 4 pm start
if the weather does not cooperate or people can't make it to fly.  



We will have burgers and chicken for grilling.  Feel free to bring anything
else if you would like.  We'll also have appetizers and sides (chips,
veggies, pasta salad, etc...).  Maybe a few people could volunteer to bring
desserts.   Also please bring any libations you would like.  



Of course, spouses/significant others and children are welcome.  



I will send out specific directions to the house before the weekend.
