Just a reminder that Colorado's Children and Youth Information Sharing Summits are quickly filling up. 
 
Who should attend? Systems/initiatives professionals who serve children/youth/families including child welfare, county departments of human/social services, youth corrections, SB 94, collaborative management programs , trauma informed systems of care sites, medical/health service providers, schools and other education professionals, probation, courts, mental health and substance abuse providers, GAL, CASA, district attorneys, and legal defense.
 
We also want family and parent/youth/family organization participation. Please outreach to your parent/youth/family partners as well.
 
If you need assistance to cover the transportation, per diem or hotel costs to attend one of these Summits, please contact anna.lopez@state.co.us. This assistance is also available to parents, parent/youth advocates or parent/youth advocacy organizations.  Do not let these costs be a barrier to your or others' attendance. 
 
April 19th - Grand Junction (REGISTER BY APRIL 15TH)
April 26th - Jefferson County (REGISTER BY APRIL 22ND)
May 15th - Greeley (REGISTER BY MAY 9TH)
June 14th - Adams County (REGISTER BY JUNE 10TH)
June 21st - Pueblo (REGISTER BY JUNE 17TH)

Information Sharing Summits 

COLORADO CHILDREN YOUTH INFORMATION SHARING SUMMITS

Colorado's Children and Youth Information Sharing (CCYIS) Initiative is gearing up for Regional Summits to be held this Spring/Summer. 
These State-wide Summits will be held in six (6) locations across the state to ensure that  EVERYONE has an opportunity to attend and receive this valuable training on information sharing. Some of the topics include:  De-bunking the Myths and Addressing the Barriers; Family Perspectives on information sharing; HIPAA and 42 CFR; Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act or FERPA; demonstration of a new, standardized consent form; Lessons Learned from the Jefferson County Juvenile Assessment Center; Review of Tools, Guidelines and Other Useful Information.
Please see the dates and locations below to determine which one you would like to attend.
Registration will begin at 8:00 AM -
Summits will star t at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM!
Lunch will be provided.
