Martin, thanks for this. Normally, I think I have a very good sense of direction. As in “I don’t need no stinking GPS.” Maps are helpful and so is a compass. But on that ride, there were times when I simply could not figure out which direction was which because we had made so many turns . . . and it was terra incognito!

Hi, everybody. Just wanted to put out a message letting you know what we collected.
Total came out to $384.00. That's a pretty impressive collection from such a small group, and I know Chuck would appreciate it.
I talked to the folks at the Humane Society this afternoon and I will be taking the donation over on Friday morning. They were grateful for the donation, needless to say!
Interesting tidbit, the Colorado Humane Society is now a subsidiary of the Dumb Friends League (another worthy organization.)
I'll let you know after I've dropped off the donation.
Thanks again to everyone for participating and for honoring Chuck. Although nothing can ever take the place of a lost friend, it's good to know that the memory of Chuck lives on in so many of us.
