Now, as most of you know, Mr. Warfield is an engineer who works for The Ball Corporation. On the one hand, he is rational, deliberate, thoughtful, etc., all of the characteristics that you might expect of an engineer.
On the other hand, there still remain a few of us who witnessed that unforgettable night at The Walnut Room many years ago when he bared his soul and we held our collective breaths: Alcohol? Drugs? Gambling? Pornography? I felt very sorry for his lovely wife, Andrea, who has had to put up with his addiction for so many years. Finally, he disclosed his deep, dark, secret obsession. We were stunned.
In short, he might have bought that black 2004 Sprint RS at Sun Honda to go with the one he already owns. You never really, really know people, even if you think you do . . .

I hope everyone was able to get out and ride this past weekend, which was glorious. Unfortunately, I came down with the crud Thursday night and unhappily saw the weekend fly past while I tried to recuperate and get back on my feet. L
First, from Craig’s List, a reported stolen 675 Daytona from Albuquerque . . . something to watch for as we’re out and about.
Second, just in case you’ve ever had a close call with a vehicle approaching too fast behind you when you have stopped in traffic, watch this video—and shudder:
Third, a possible topic for a future meeting: Why “trail braking” might be a good skill to have when one goes into a curve a too fast . . . who amongst us could talk on this? Curtis? Bullitt Bob?
