I'm not going but I used to live in west Texas and the temp changes can be interesting. A freeze in early October is not unheard of BUT VERY RARE. The weather site says 90's currently and nights around 40 and low 60s for a high on Saturday with a warm up beginning on Sunday. Probably means windy but little chance for snow. Gives you a chance to try out those electric vests. Have a great and safe ride.

For those going to TX, I am hearing a Winter Freeze with snow is on the way Fri-Sat. Anyone heard more on the forecast? I'm not too keen to bike in freezing cold and snow.
