Re: [emrat:3137] Re: 9th Annual Scoot For Toys

CPT Bob & Denise;  because of family obligations (my daughter and grandbaby are in town from MS), I am planning on doing the Scoot For Toys, however I plan on riding my scooter in it and riding only to the easternmost point of the route and then leaving the ride for home.  I can't commit to the entire ride so I will have to forego being part of the EMRAT escort.  Sorry for the late notice.  I do believe that there are some other EMRATs not on your list that are planning to attend.  Wayne E.

Doc,

I'm glad you will be able make the benefit ride! The weather is looking great on Saturday.

Don't worry about no gift and donating cash. Over the past few years I have been donating cash. What I do is empty my change into a jar and what is in the jar at the end of the year I donate to the Ronald McDonald House . You would be surprised by how much change winds up in the jar by the end of the year.

Thanks to the following EMRAT riders who have so far volunteered to help this year with the ride.

Wayne Everman
Sean Donnelly

Possible I may be able to make this after all. If so, I will just show up to register at 10. No gift, so I will donate cash if so.

Everyone,

The 9th Annual Scoot For Toys to benefit the Ronald McDonald House is scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd, 2013. Once again I have volunteered to lead the RAT road guards. Below you will find the Schedule and more details. From the information I have received the ride route will be the same as last year, but the more riders we have the better. I hope everyone can show up and support the ride after all this event is for a good organization.  I will see everyone on Saturday, November 2nd and as more information becomes available I will send it out.

So, Scoot down to Erico Motorsports, 2855 Walnut St. at 10am on Saturday, November 2nd and enjoy complimentary coffee and bagels. Dress warm for the ride. There is no rain/snow date. A lunch will be provided at the end of the ride for all the participants along with beverages.
