Great to see a "Legendary bike back on the road again! In regards to the on/off oil issues on a 2002 Sprint ST,l finally,after 4 months,found the answer. Thanks to the nice chaps at triumph/rat.net,and after reviewing the damaged alternator cover,it appears that the replacement cover is missing an oil seal (oh fughg)!##!!! Did the walk of shame to Foothills and ordered parts,even suggested that an addition of a swear jar would be great!!This weekend,better of going fishing. Oh yea,no,l still have no idea how the poor thing made it to Sturgis and back!!!!!! Talk to you later Dan E-Steve |
