Good morning! If you’re reading this it’s probably because we’ve crossed paths through business or past efforts geared toward the betterment of Downtown Denver and its urban public spaces.
Today, I’m raising awareness of The Greenway Foundation’s 2nd Annual Gala on the Bridge, an extraordinary event in a unique location, directly over the South Platte River in Confluence Park on Thursday, September 20th, 2012, honoring Dana Crawford. We’ll take over the Historic 19th Street Bridge for a special evening filled with dinner, cocktails, music and incredible views of Riverfront Park and the most urban South Platte River corridor. The Greenway Foundation is honored to present the 2012 Friend of the River Award to Dana Crawford. Dana was one of The Greenway Foundation’s founding Board Members 38 years ago! Dana’s first assignment was to help oversee the creation of a new and engaged vision for the birthplace of Denver, now known as Confluence Park.
Sponsorship packages and table reservations still exist! This Gala presents a number of ways for you and your company to gain exposure, with recognition for sponsors in the Denver Business Journal, and most importantly, the opportunity to support the creation of recreational and environmental enhancements to the River which, in turn, spur economic development throughout Downtown and LoDo.
