Getting to Know Local Government:
Spotlight on Human Rights and Community Partnerships
and Community Partnerships
Thursday, September 19, 2012
1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Denver Public Library
10 W. 14th Ave. Pkwy, Room B2
Where can you find advocacy and connections to the City for older adults, racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, people with disabilities, GLTB individuals, immigrants and refugees, and neighborhood and nonprofit partnerships all under one roof? In the City of Denver’s Agency for Human Rights and Community Partnerships, of course!
Founded in 1947, the Agency focuses on a wide range of issues and access for all individuals in our community. DOSP invites nonprofits and City agency staff to engage in an in-depth exploration of the Agency for Human Rights and Community Partnerships, the ninth City agency highlighted in DOSP’s ongoing “Spotlight On” series.
Spend an afternoon learning about this agency’s strategic direction, programs, structure, staffing, budgets, and opportunities for engagement. There will also be opportunity for informal networking with those in attendance.
Join the staff of Human Rights and Community Partnerships for an informal Open House in our new space on the second floor of the Webb Building immediately following the workshop.
