I just got done working and had a chance to check the WX.

Things look good for towing at Calhan with surface winds forecast from the NNE at 6-8 mph.  9k winds are predicted to be 18 which should be tolerable but we may see stronger flow than predicted along the surface.  The soaring forecast doesn't show much happening until late morning / early afternoon so it should be a good day for new folks to take several sledders and get comfortable with the tow process.  

I'll be at Calhan ready to start at 8a.  If your new (ie never towed with us) come early.  For those looking for a bit more thermic conditions, call first but figure on coming out later in the morning.

To get to Calhan airport take Hwy 24 East of Colorado Springs to the town of Calhan.  Proceed through town at the posted speed limit!  Take your last Left as you exit the town heading North onto Yoder St.  Follow For about 1.5 Miles.  The airport will be on your right... Turn right into airport just past the north end of the runway onto Calhan Pl.  You'll see our silver trailer and sock at the North end of the runway.
