If you haven't read Tales of Triumph Motorcycles & the Meriden Factory by Hughie Hancox, you ought to check it out. It's a pretty good book with insight to the old glory days in the Triumph factory from the 50's through the early 70's.

Jeff, it will be generally North from Dacono towards Greeley, most of this will be on County Road 19, then CO 257, from there East on US 34, then we'll follow the Platte River up along CO 144 and end up at Fort Morgan.  Distance wil be about 105 miles from the start point.

Sorry for the short notice, but you know how weather can be this time of year!

 

Up until yesterday it looked like the weather was going to be marginally decent on Saturday.  Most recent info from the Weather Channel shows Saturday's forecast now to be 45 with a 40% chance of showers. 

 

For that reason, I would like to go ahead and change the date of the ride to    SUNDAY, MARCH 16th. 

 

Sunday's forecast in Denver is sunny and 55 degrees with 0 chance of rain. 

 

All other details will remain the same.  Departure point is still the same:  Kum & Go off of I-25  Exit 235 North of Denver.  Departure TIME is still the same, kickstands up at 9:30 AM. 

 

Hopefully this should allow some people who had Saturday plans and might now be able to come to the ride. 

 

I will post this on the Facebook page as well.
