RE: [emrat:4224] Bike won't start after washing

And this happened to me once.  The screw holding down the positive lead to the battery had vibrated loose . . and thus the bike would not start.  Simply tightening the screw solve the problem.

Check the terminal connections. Sometimes loose resistance will cause non starting.

Ok, guys, can use some help...my Speedmaster started fine yesterday. I then washed it, it dried in the garage overnight and when I attempted to start it this morning, it wouldn't turn over. Lights and the rest seem to be working fine and the battery doesn't seem to be dead. I've washed the bike a number of times in the past and have never had a problem.

Anyone have any ideas on why it won't start and what I can do to troubleshoot the problem?
