But I've not found anything about low-power scooter parking on sidewalks in a quick search of the City of Denver/Denver PD Web sites . . . . which is not to say that it's not hidden somewhere.

Well Doc...I knew but decided to risk it because finding a park in CC is a PITA!!! The Parking Nazis that roam the streets in CC tagged me in short order. CC parking citations is a big revenue producer for the City of Denver...really pisses me off!!!!
