Subject: CPIN: REMINDER TO RSVP FOR MARCH'S CPIN MONTHLY MEETING
Dear Service Providers,
This is a reminder to RSVP for the monthly Colorado Providers for Integration Network (CPIN) monthly meeting. The next Immigrant Service Provider Meeting is on Wednesday, March 12th from 11am to 1pm at the Justice For All Building in the Union Hall which is on the first floor in the back.The address is 2525 West Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80219. There is plenty of free parking. Feel free to bring your colleagues and to have them RSVP. Please RSVP by MONDAY, March 10th by end of day using the following link:
Dr. Shaayestah Merchant, Ph.D. from Essential Dialogues, LLC is a Licensed Psychologist and will present on the neurobiology of trauma and present on what happens in the brain when someone has experienced trauma and how to understand the symptoms of trauma through a physiological lens. Many of our clients come here with single or multiple layers of trauma and it is important to understand how to better serve these clients.
Jamie Torres, the Deputy Director of the Agency for Human Rights and Community Partnerships will also so a short presentation regarding the new Denver Immigrant Community & Neighborhood Assessment that was just released for the City and County of Denver.Feel free to bring your lunch or pick up something along the way to enjoy during the meeting.
