Friends and Community Leaders,
Happy New Year to everyone! 2012 was a tremendous year for the District and we look forward to a 2013 filled with high hopes and dreams for Denver and the downtown communities.
To kick things off we'll be hosting a public art reception in partnership with the Five Points Business District and Arts & Venues Denver. We'll be recognizing and celebrating the relocation of the Candy Chang "Before I Die" art installation, a piece the Atlantic calls "one of the most creative community projects ever". The event will begin on Wednesday the 9th, 5:00PM at the McNichols Building at Civic Center Park. Please see attached for the invitation and more on the District's recent efforts.
We're happy to have tied Denver into this global project and we're looking forward to its continued success. Our friends at Blurred Pictures documented the Denver installation and we're excited to premiere their work on Wednesday!
Bring your friends, family and neighbors!!
