Hello All-
I just got off the phone with Zev Barnett. He and 100+ volunteers are a part of a grassroots group called the Denver Peanut Butter Plan. Check them out on their website: peanutbutterplan.org
His group assembles sandwiches and distributes them to the homeless population. He also receives a number of donations from grocery stores and donut shops etc. Last month due to his huge volunteer showing he had roughly about 900+ sandwiches leftover. They are in need of other locations that would be willing to accept this service.
DPBP usually puts a project together once a month. His next project is February 17, 2013. If you are interested in having your location be a recipient of his project please get in contact with him through email: zbarnett@gmail.com
