[CPN] Volunteer for our city trees! Become a Community Forester! - Register by February 27th

Hello all!

Please help us spread the word and recruit new volunteers to support our community forest!

Community Forester Workshops

The spring 2013 Community Forester workshop schedule is available.

The Community Forester program will give you the knowledge and skills to lead and participate in tree planting and care projects in your neighborhood as well as for The Park People (home of Denver Digs Trees), Denver’s Forestry Division, and the Mile High Million tree planting initiative.  Workshops include Trees 101, Planting & Health, Pruning, Identification & Inventory, Volunteer Leadership & Management.  This is a great opportunity to support our environment, urban greening, community health, and quality of life in Denver.

Registration deadline: February 27.  First workshop starts March 2 and is a pre-requisite for other workshops.  Space is limited, so call The Park People at 303-722-6262 to register now!  For more details, see the attached flyer or visit http://www.theparkpeople.org/Programs/CommunityForester.aspx.

Thank you!

Brenda
